In this article I will briefly look at the 500 ml Pressol Oil Sprayerbottle with brass spout, as alternative for the Muc-Off Bio Drivetrain Cleaner. I’m a huge fan of Muc-Off Bio Drivetrain Cleaner, but the new bottles just come with a spray nozzle, while the old version that I have comes with a spiked tip to directly use in combination with the Muc-Off X3 Dirty Chain Machine.
Having a spare bottle also allows you to use other drive train cleaners like Morgan Blue, with the Muc-Off X3 Dirty Chain Machine.

The brass spout
The brass spout can be used in a telescopic way. So you can change the length that sticks outside the bottle. The brass spout is connected with a hex-bolt that tightens the blue plastic cap around the brass spout.
The end of the brass spout towards the tip has a 30 degree angle. The tip has a brass screw-cap that lets you close the spout by hand-tightening that cap on the tip. That works well in warm weather and prevents the vaporizing of the chain cleaner.
Bottle details
The transparent bottle has a volume of a little more than 500 ml. and is produced from LDPE (polyethylene of low density). The characteristics of LDPE allow you to use the Pressol Oil sprayer bottle with oil, acid is even fuel-resistant. So it will work well with the chain cleaners for bikes, that are mostly biodegradable.
The scale on the bottle for each 100 ml. is very practical and the wide base with a diameter of about 70 mm makes it a stable bottle for on your work bench or case with cleaning products.
