In this article I will review a small item I have stored in all my saddlebags: Prototipo Works Valve Adaptor that converts Presta to Schrader. I’m using Presta valves on all my bikes Peaty’s x Chris King MK2 Tubeless Valves on Scott Scale 925 and Canyon Grizl CF SL8. On the Canyon Ultimate CF SLX 8 I’m riding Cyclami or RideNow Tech TPU Inner Tubes with Presta valves.
I’m carrying two spare TPU Inner Tubes (different for each discipline), Schwalbe Tire Levers with rim clip a CO2 cartridge in the Arundel Pico Seat Bag, the Silca Mattone saddle bag or the Scicon Elan 210 Saddle Bag.
The Prototipo Works Presta to Schrader Valve Adaptor is put in the Craft Cadence Essentials Case (which I always take with my on each ride). It also contains the important Peaty’s Holeshot Tubeless Plugger Kit and a Topeak P30 multitool and Park Tool Emergency Tire Boot TB-2 patches.

The price-point of the Prototipo Works Presta to Schrader Valve Adaptor is $ 9,95 which is fair for an engineering master piece build out of high quality premium materials. And the only part that can wear out, the Viton synthetic fluoropolymer elastomer rubber O-Ring can be purchased separately for $ 0,95
It is simply one of these items that can bring you home safely (or keeps you going). Low weight, low volume and a fair price for high quality material and thorough engineering. Available in the colors stainless steel and black.
