In this article I will share my thoughts on the Birzman Grease Gun BM14-LGG-S with a tube of lubrication grease. This is a Birzman branded version on the Dualco Squeeze Type Grease guns, which is also the brand behind the Motorex Mini Grease gun.

On the Birzman website you can read the following description:
Protects against corrosion, heat, and water. The Lubrication grease is ideal for use on hubs, screws, nuts, bolts, bearings, and bottom brackets. Used for applying precise amounts of grease, remove the cap and attach the tube directly to the Birzman grease gun.
I would have expected a Motorex Bike Grease 2000 like grease, but it contains: “copper, graphite and silicon” and has a temperature tolerance of -20 – 180 °C.
While Motorex Bike Grease 2000 has this very outspoken fluorescent yellow color the Birzman grease is black grey, probably due to the graphite and silicon. Copper grease I normally use on threads of pedal axels, more in particular Muc-Off Anti-Seize Copper Compound. So all in all this feels like a very all-round and versatile grease.
Dualco Squeeze Tube Grease Gun
The Birzman BM14-LGG-S Grease Gun is a Dualco 10360 Squeeze Tube Grease Gun with a 10547 long Narrow Stainless Tip for all flush type fittings & hard to reach places.
Squeeze Type guns are perfect for one hand operation in tight spaces. These models are designed to be used with squeeze tube containers. Simply squeeze the tube to prime. All models will handle multi viscous grades of lubricant.
I’ve purchased 2 of these Birzman BM14-LGG-S Grease Guns just like I have 2 Hazet 2162M mini grease guns. I’ve exchanged the tips of a Birzman BM14-LGG-S and a Hazet 2162M grease gun. This results that I have a Squeeze Tube Grease gun with a long nozzle tip and with a short nozzle tip. And also a Hazet 2162M mini grease gun with a 10547 long narrow stainless nozzleip and one with a short nozzle tip. Please note that the Motorex Mini Grease Gun also has this long nozzle, perfect for tight spaces.
Concluding thoughts and wrap-up
I’ve purchased the Birzman Grease Gun BM14-LGG-S with a tube of lubrication grease at the Merida Benelux webshop for a discounted price point of € 13,17 (from € 21,95). Which is a very good offer for both a quality Dualco 10360 Squeeze Tube Grease Gun and 100 ml of allround grease. You cannot go wrong having this in your workshop.
As said I’ve purchased two Birzman Grease Guns BM14-LGG-S and changed the nozzle tip of one with the Hazet 2162M mini grease gun. So that makes my home mechanic garage workshop a bit more versatile. I didn’t have squeeze tube grease guns yet.
